Blake Kaba Executive Chef

Blake Kaba

Executive Chef

For over 15 years Chef Blake Kaba has traveled around the United States gaining experience from different chefs and learning new cuisines.

Born in Albania, she immigrated to New York at only twelve years old, where she developed an interest and passion for cooking in her family restaurants. Working in Queens, Rhode Island, and Brooklyn she gained a lot of experience in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.

At the age of twenty, she moved to Arizona and worked for her uncle’s restaurant, and in short two years, she was promoted to head chef. After spending eight years there she took her skills to Alaska where she was the executive chef for a hotel restaurant she opened from scratch. After two years there, Chef Kaba wanted to continue her growth and moved on to Yakima, WA for an amazing private chef seasonal gig where she and a team of chefs created six to twelve-course meals for private events, mostly held at winery orchards. Once she finished up her seasonal job she moved to Spokane, WA where she first worked for Twigs Bistro & sister restaurant Tortilla Union for a total of three years. She then took her passion and helped open Three Peaks Kitchen + Bar at the Spokane Tribe Casino for a total of three years.

Currently, as the Executive Chef at 1898 Public House at Kalispel Golf Country Club, she shows her passion for what she truly loves. Crafting a menu that guests are familiar with but also offering some of her dishes with a different flair is what she mostly had in mind when joining 1898 Public House.

She puts a lot of effort into including local companies, fresh ingredients, and scratch-made dishes and truly cares for what her guests want. “My goal is to ensure each and every guest leaves full and satisfied after having our food”.
