Bob Castle, General Manager. the team

BOB CASTLE IS A SPOKANE NATIVE. He joined the Kalispel Golf and Country Club management team in May 2016 as General Manager. Bob earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management at Whitworth University. He received his Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University. He earned a Food and Beverage Management certificate from Cornell University, Sports Management from Columbia University of Professional Studies, and is a graduate of The American School of Broadcast. Bob came to us from Whitworth University, where he was the Assistant Athletic Director, managing corporate partnerships and athletic operations for the most successful athletic department in its conference. Bob was the 18-year radio voice of Whitworth Athletics. He currently serves as the Head Coach of the Whitworth Softball Program. He brings strong leadership, managerial, and relationship skills and a passion for the hospitality and golf industries. Bob has spent close to 30 Years working in the local broadcasting industry, both on the air and behind the scenes in programming and operations. Bob has served as President and Secretary of the Inland Empire Club Management Association of America.

Jeff Gullikson Golf Course Superintendent

A CERTIFIED GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT with over 30 years of experience maintaining public and private courses, Jeff Gullikson is an expert in his field. Jeff holds a Master of Science Degree in Agronomy and Turfgrass Management with a minor in Ornamental Horticulture. Jeff pours his heart and soul into ensuring a world-class golfing experience. For the past 19 years, Jeff has been the Golf Course Superintendent for Kalispel Golf and Country Club (formerly Spokane Country Club). He served as Superintendent at Overlake Golf and Country Club in Medina, WA, for 10 years and 3 years at Longview Country Club in Longview, WA. His first Assistant Golf Course Superintendent position was at Mint Valley Golf Course in Longview. Jeff co-founded The First Green, an education program that teams schools and golf courses to teach the environmental benefits of golf courses and introduce kids to golf. Jeff has also coached high school golf at Northwest Christian for the past ten years.

Nick McCaslin Head Golf Professional

Nick Mccaslin GREW UP IN SPOKANE. He played golf at Mead High School. Nick attended New Mexico State University. Nick earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing and minored in PGA Golf Management, all while graduating with honors as a Crimson Scholar. As Kalispel Golf and Country Club’s head golf professional, Nick oversees all aspects of golf operations. Nick develops member tournaments, manages the golf shop, leads the junior golf program, and provides lessons, clinics, and club fittings. He is passionate about helping golfers of all abilities play better and enjoy the game more. Nick is a certified PGA golf professional (earned by less than 5% of PGA professionals). He is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified expert. Nick is a five time winner of the Inland Empire PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award – Resort (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023). He is also a three time winner of the Pacific Northwest Section PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award – Resort (2020, 2021, 2023). The Inland Empire PGA named Nick Assistant Golf Professional of the Year in 2015. In 2017, they presented him with the Player Development Award. Nick is also a Certified Master Club Fitter with Callaway Golf.

Travis Huskisson First Assistant Golf Professional

Travis Huskisson was raised in Austin, TX. He graduated from Whitworth University in 2008 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications. Travis ran NCAA DIII cross country and track during his four years at Whitworth. He came to Kalispel Golf & Country Club in 2016 from Esmeralda Golf Course, where he started in the golf industry. He loves working with junior golfers and helps lead the junior programs. Travis also coaches our PGA Junior League team. He is TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Level 1 Certified. Travis is available for screenings, lessons, and club fittings. The Inland Empire PGA named Travis Assistant Golf Professional of the Year in 2021.

Amy Eneroth Assistant Golf Professional Level 2

Amy Eneroth, PGA

Amy joined the team in 2016. She is an Assistant Golf Professional where she spends her time helping run the golf shop and assisting members with anything they may need. She grew up in Spokane and has played golf ever since she could walk. Amy played high school golf for Mead. She then completed four years at WSU and graduated with a degree in Sport Management. During high school and college, she competed in two US Girls’ Junior Championships, Three Junior World Championships, and Three US Women’s Amateur Championships. After finishing her college career, Amy played the Cactus Tour for a summer, then was lucky enough to play well in Q-School and secure status on the Symetra Tour. She spent the next four years on the road playing on the Symetra Tour, trying to make it to the LPGA Tour. Amy is grateful for so many amazing experiences. Through them, she learned the Pacific Northwest is precisely where she wants to be!

Director of Hospitality

Kayla joined the Kalispel Golf and Country Club family in 2016. She has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Kayla holds a Bachelor’s in Communications and a Wedding and Event Planning Certification. She has a passion for food and people. She oversees all food and beverage operations. Kayla is vital in elevating every guest’s experience.

Blake Kaba Executive Chef

For over 15 years, Chef Blake Kaba traveled around the United States, training under different chefs and learning new cuisines. Born in Albania, she immigrated to New York at twelve years old. While there, she worked in her family’s restaurants and discovered a love for cooking. She studied Italian and Mediterranean cuisines in Queens, Brooklyn, and Rhode Island.

She moved to Arizona at 20 and worked at her uncle’s restaurant. Within two years, she earned the role of head chef. After spending eight years there, she took her skills to Alaska. There, she opened a hotel restaurant from scratch and served as executive chef. After two years, Chef Kaba wanted to continue developing her skills. She moved on to Yakima, WA, for a fantastic private chef seasonal gig. Chef Kaba and a team of chefs created six to twelve-course meals for private events. After completing her seasonal job, she moved to Spokane, WA. For three years, she worked for Twigs Bistro & sister restaurant, Tortilla Union. Chef Kaba helped open Three Peaks Kitchen + Bar at the Spokane Tribe Casino, working there for three years. As the Executive Chef at Kalispel Golf Country Club’s 1898 Public House, she showcases her true passion. Crafting a menu that guests are familiar with while offering some of her unique dishes was her goal when joining 1898 Public House.

She prioritizes including local companies, fresh ingredients, and scratch-made dishes. Chef Kaba truly cares for what her guests want. “My goal is to ensure every guest leaves full and satisfied after having our food.”
